A mother named Amy Bowden took to her Facebook page to call out Cameron Kemp, who works as an assistant football coach at Delmar High School.
The mother called out Cameron Kemp after she noticed he kept putting laughing “haha” emojis on posts about the recent arrest of a young mother named Vanessa Parrazal by ICE agents right near Pinehurst Elementary School in Salisbury.
That arrest happened back on December 17 when Vanessa Parrazal, a 24-year-old woman who had just dropped off her little girl at school, got surrounded by agents in unmarked cars on a nearby street.
Witnesses said they ended up breaking her car windows to pull her out, which scared a lot of people in the neighborhood watching it all unfold.
Amy called the assistant coach’s reaction on the post, straight-up racist and heartless.
In fact, she wrote her post directly to parents with kids in the Delmar School District, pointing out how Kemp reacted that way to the controversial arrest news of a child possibly getting separated from her mom just days before Christmas.
Amy then mentioned that her own child goes to WiHi instead, so they avoid dealing with what she sees as bad attitudes from some staff over in Delmar.
She wrote:
Luckily, my child chose to attend WiHi and does not have to put up with the racist attitudes of Delmar staff members.

Likewise, she urged anyone else enrolled there who cares about decency to reach out and complain to the school district because kids shouldn’t have to look up to someone acting like that.
“If you have a child presently enrolled in that district and you have a fucking conscience, you should complain to Delmar school district,” Amy wrote.
Disappointed with the assistant coach’s reaction, Holly Lee Smack commented on the post:
My GOD! It seems he’s lost his humanity 😔. This really exposes the demons that used to be hidden. My prayers for the separated family.
