High School Basketball

Firstly, George started the JV team season as a junior but was quickly elevated to the varsity team once the season finished.

Furthermore, during his junior year, he was the only non-senior starter on the varsity squad.

Therefore, George began to garner attention in 2007 when he competed in the AAU tournaments.

College Career

George attended Fresno State for two years. 

Despite losing his second game, George made an impact with his one-handed slam dunk over Mickey McConnell, winning him SportsCenter’s top “Play of the Day” title for the date of the Year 2018, November 18. 

Additionally, Fresno State failed to qualify for the NCAA tournament that season.

George finished second in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) in minutes played, 3-point shooting, and steals per game.
