Very heartbreaking day for the Peck Community. My heart breaks so hard for my brothers and all their friends. He was more than just an athletic director & a coach. He was someone all those boys he coached looked up to. I’m very glad I had the privilege to know James these past couple years. My heart goes out to the whole peck community, his family & friends, & all the kiddos who lost another coach
While his wife, Shane, or any other family member has not confirmed the funeral details or visitation, they may need some time to go through their grief.
Although the community has lost its beloved coach, Peck School or Shane herself may soon announce further details via their social media.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to the James Welch family, friends, and all those who knew and loved him.
Rest in Peace, Coach!
