Keith Jones, the former NHL star and current President of Hockey Operations for the Philadelphia Flyers, has become the center of attention recently.

In an interview with Al Morganti, Jones discussed the Flyers’ strategic direction and emphasized the importance of player development, sparking discussions among fans and analysts.

When Morganti asked about the team’s progress, Jones responded by stating that they were currently on track.

“I think we’re on schedule. I think in the big picture we have greater plans. We want to make sure that we continue to stick to the plan that’s in the place. Collectively, we have conversations all the time though to make sure that we’re on track…. Not gonna happen overnight, but you know the way things are going, we are very pleased with the continued development of our younger players, players that we consider to be the core of the future, and, we look forward to some of the players that we’ve drafted recently  continuing to develop and look forward to their time when they arrive here in Philadelphia.”

One of their most unique ventures is their deep enthusiasm for horse racing.

This shared passion led the couple to purchase a promising three-year-old gelding named All of the Above for just $4,000.

“My wife gravitated visually to All of the Above and said that’s the one she wanted. I was a spectator. They all looked good to me.”
