Kimberly Kelisha Eden Feazell tragically died in a head-on car accident on November 1, 2025, near Piedmont, Alabama, at the age of 40.

The accident occurred late Saturday night on Alabama Highway 9, about four miles south of Piedmont in Calhoun County.

Kimberly was driving a 2020 Toyota Camry when her vehicle collided head-on with a 2015 Ford Taurus driven by Patryck L. Smith, age 37.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. A nine-year-old child, who was a passenger in Kimberly’s car and her younger daughter, was injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The crash is currently under investigation by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division.

Kelisha Eden’s Younger Daughter, Who Was With Her During The Accident, Is Currently In The Hospital Recovering!

Kelisha Eden Feazell was a beloved sister, mother, and deeply cherished figure in her family and community.

She lost her life in an accident caused by a drunk driver, who also passed away in the crash.

However, her younger daughter survived the tragic car crash and is currently recovering in the hospital.

Also, she was the mother of four children, including a son named Will, who had passed away earlier.

Regarding her profession, Kelisha dedicated much of her life to serving children and families through her work with the Cleburne County Department of Human Resources (DHR).

She played a direct role in life-changing adoption stories and became a vital asset to the department.

As a DHR board member noted, Kelisha’s impact was not only as a professional but as a compassionate advocate.

Following her sudden passing, family members and the community have come together to share grief, honoring her life and legacy.

Kenisha Joyce Eden, a beloved sister of Kelisha, expressed a deep sorrow after facing the unbearable loss of her dear sister, saying:

How do I walk through this life without you, my beautiful sister? My heart aches beyond words, but I promise to carry your love with me and do my very best to make you proud in everything I do. The Lord will be my refuge through the pain.

Additionally, in another post, she shared an emotional tribute, expressing the heartbreak of losing her protector and best friend.

She further wrote:

Lord, please wrap Your arms around us. We’ve faced so much loss on this earth, but we know You are still good, and Your promises are still true.

We’re asking for all the prayers right now for strength, comfort, and healing. Thank you to everyone who has called, texted, prayed, brought food, and surrounded us with love. We feel it deeply and are so thankful.Rest in Heaven, my beautiful sister. Until we meet again at those gates.

Also, N.K.’s Cafe paid tribute to Kelisha, saying:

Our hearts are heavy today as we share that our team member, Kenisha Joyce Eden, has experienced an unimaginable loss. Her sister tragically passed away last night in a car accident, and her niece remains in the hospital.

Please join us in lifting Kenisha and her family in love, prayer, and strength during this heartbreaking time. We extend our deepest sympathies and stand with her as she navigates the days ahead.

With the permission of Kelisha Eden Feazell’s family, Stacy Parker has stepped forward to organize a fundraiser to support Kelisha’s children in the wake of her sudden passing.

Donations will go directly toward meeting the children’s needs, and, as Stacy lovingly noted, their wants as well.

She’s shared her Cash App and Venmo details for contributions and encourages others to spread the word.

Due to a recent attempt to duplicate her Venmo account, Stacy asks donors to use her phone number when searching her name and to message her directly for the correct contact information.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Kelisha Feazell’s family, friends, and well-wishers.

Rest In Peace!
