Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward and his wife, Allie Heyward, have been together for 17 years. Though Allie doesn’t make many media appearances, she loves sharing family updates on her Instagram handle.
Allie entered Cameron’s life before he even made it to the NFL. The defensive tackle met the love of his life at Ohio State University, where he played four years of football.
At Ohio, Cameron marked his freshman year with 30 tackles, 2 sacks, and 2 passes broken up. He was named a freshman All-American.
In his junior year, Heyward led the team to the Rose Bowl finals as they defeated Oregon 26-17.
Many believed Hayward would forgo his senior year and declare for the NFL draft, but the defensive tackle returned for one last ride.
In his senior season, Heyward totaled 48 tackles and 2.5 sacks. The team went on to win the 2011 Allstate Sugar Bowl finals against Arkansas Razorbacks.

Cameron Heyward and Allie met during their freshman year at Ohio State University.
The couple were student-athletes, and Allie was involved with the volleyball team.
Allie, 35, grew up in Cleveland with two sisters, Amy and Sara Schwarzwalder.
Before arriving at Ohio State, Allie played for North Royalton High School as a middle hitter for four years.
She was named the Pioneer Conference MVP in 2006 and represented the USA Volleyball Junior National A2 Team in 2006.
Allie played only one match in her freshman season but received more opportunities in her sophomore year.
The middle blocker played in 30 matches and had a career-high 14 kills against Wichita.
In her junior and final year as a player, Allie was named in the Academic All-Big Ten and played 22 matches.
She graduated from Ohio State with an Early Childhood Education degree and has worked in community activities, including the Kids in Need program, since she was young.
Cameron and Allie certainly had many things in common even before they met.
In July 2024, the NFL player’s wife decided to establish her company, Align Home And Living.
The business combined her DIY passion with professional homemaking, lifestyle, and gifting.
On her website, Allie said she wanted to explore her passion outside of “mom” life, which led to her establishing her new business.
In September 2024, Allie said the business is slowly getting on track in an Instagram video.
She wrote that balancing her husband’s 14th NFL season, three kids’ school life, and her new passion has been hectic.
Cameron And Allie Heyward Are Parents To Three Kids
For Cameron, it was love at first sight. He immediately got attached to Allie when he first saw her in 2007.
The two lived in the same dorm and had similar practice and workout schedules. Love slowly blossomed between them, and soon they began dating.
After five years of dating, Cameron proposed to Allie on New Year’s Eve in 2012 at Savory restaurant in the Strip District.
The couple tied the knot on May 11, 2013, at the Westin Convention Center Pittsburgh Hotel.
Cameron and Allie became first-time parents in November 2015 as they welcomed their son, Callen Heyward.
In an interview with ESPN in 2016, Cameron said there isn’t a day he is not excited to feed his son Callen after returning from therapy and football workouts.
The NFL couple’s second child, Chloe Heyward, was born on August 3, 2017.
Two years later, they became parents to their second daughter, Caia, on August 5, 2019.

In 2023, Cameron became Peter Pan, and Allie transformed into Captain Hook, with their youngest daughter dressing up as Tinker Bell.
