A regular day at a Planet Fitness gym in Atlanta turned into complete chaos this week when a simple “have a good day” led to an employee losing her mind on a customer.

Recently, a video went viral online where a girl is cursing at the woman, recording the chaos.

The woman who recorded everything says she was just finishing her workout and told the employee behind the front desk to “have a good day” as she walked out.

According to her, the worker suddenly snapped, looked around, and asked who she was cursing at, even though no curse words ever came out of the customer’s mouth.

Confused by the reaction, the customer went to another staff member to complain about the rude behavior, telling:

You need to check her. Her customer service is horrible She’s very rude. I told her, have a good day. She’s out looking around like, who you talking to? I’m talking to you!

Instagram

That complaint apparently set the employee off even more. Then, the employee can be seen coming from behind the counter, yelling and daring the woman to fight her.

Simultaneously, the employee and the woman were yelling at each other.

The woman said, “You do this at your job? This is what you do at your job? This is what you do on your job?

Meanwhile, another employee came in between to de-escalate the situation while the employee being recorded tried to get physical with the woman. To which the woman challenged.

Touch me. Touch me. I’ll sue the fuck out of y’all.

Instagram

The customer kept explaining to everyone around her what happened:

She’s mad because I told her to have a good day. I didn’t curse at her not one time. I wasn’t rude to her. If she came to work mad, that’s on her.

Instagram

Throughout the whole clip, the employee kept screaming and trying to get physical, while the customer stayed behind the camera, repeating that the worker’s customer service was horrible and that she never started anything.

Instead of supporting the woman, people online are doubting her, saying there is more to the story, and a simple “have a good day” can’t provoke such reactions.

styleandpoise supported the employee, writing:

I’m sure it’s more to the story. Ole girl isn’t doing all of that over a “have a good day”. But also…never let anyone trick you out of your spot, especially at work.

Likewise, Jonesounds wrote, “😏 Oh You Did More Than “Have A Good Day” Sis.

Whereas some made sarcasm out of the entire situation. fitwitbritt504 wrote:
