A young basketball player from Newburyport, Massachusetts, Robbie Vigeant, has been diagnosed with brain cancer, leaving everyone in prayer.

He plays for the middle school team in Newburyport, Massachusetts.

Newburyport, Massachusetts, Community Prays for the Fast Recovery of Robbie Vigeant from Brain Cancer!

Robbie is one of the sons of Rob and Heather Vigeant. He has four siblings, Gabby, Izzy, Lando,n and little Evelyn.

Before being diagnosed, Robbie was a young basketball enthusiast who played for the middle school team.

However, on December 15, when his mother, Heather, took him to the hospital for some eye movement tests, she received the tragic news that no mother ever wishes to hear.

After further testing, doctors informed Robbie’s mother that he has a cancerous brain tumor.

Robbie is currently undergoing important tests at Boston Children’s Hospital.

He has already had brain surgery to take a sample of the tumor and to place an ETV to help prevent problems from the tumor blocking the flow of fluid in his brain.

Following this news, not just the family, but the whole community has been praying for and supporting the Vigeant family.

The community has reached out to the Vigeant family to express their support and help, with one loved one commenting;

Heather we are so profoundly sorry to read this news. Our hearts break for you, Rob and your family for having to endure such a thing. If your son is anything like his parents, he’s strong as hell and he’ll be kicking Cancer’s ass every step of the way as he recovers from this. We’ve donated but please don’t hesitate to reach out if we can provide any further assistance to you and your family in any way. Just because we haven’t seen each other in many years doesn’t mean we aren’t here when you need us.

A GoFundMe page has also been organized to assist the Vigeant family, where people can make donations of their choice.

The funds raised from the campaign will go directly toward Robbie’s treatment and immediate recovery, helping the family cover their monthly bills (mortgage/rent, utilities, etc.) without losing critical income.

In addition to the GoFundMe page, a Meal Train campaign has also been set up, allowing people to support the family with meals and dishes.

While everyone expresses their support for the Vigeant family, we also want to send our prayers to them and to everyone who is keeping Robbie in their thoughts and prayers.
