High school basketball player from Farwell, PA, Xander Shearer, recently went through a tragic car accident, leaving his friends and family in prayers.
Xander Shearer was a senior basketball player for the Bucktail High School Bucks. He was part of the 2024–2025 roster of the Bucks Boys Basketball team.
During his high school career, Xander achieved many accomplishments in sports.
He was one of the top performers, finishing in 1st place during the Regional #3 Blind Draw game at Liberty Arena in December 2024.

In addition to basketball, Xander was also involved in baseball, indicating he was a multi‑sport athlete in high school.
Farwell, PA Community Prays for Xander Shearer’s Recovery After Accident!
Xander Sheater was involved in a tragic car accident on December 9, 2025.
While there are not many official reports about his accident, what is known is that the accident occurred around Renovo Road in Gregg Township.
Following the accident, he was taken to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UMPC) in Williamsport.
After the crash, he was in the ICU with brain trauma, and he underwent surgery to relieve pressure on his brain.
The accident has also resulted in several broken bones.
Following this tragic incident, his brother, Bradley Shearer has organized a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the medical bills and support the quick recovery of Xander.
The funds collected from the campaign are said to be used by the Shearer family to help with the expenses they are facing during Xander’s recovery.
As of now, many people have expressed their support and made donations for Xander’s recovery, and everyone who knows him is keeping him in their prayers.
