Colin Hill passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, following a medical emergency at school at the age of 14.

His unexpected departure has left a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends, classmates, and the entire St. Louis community.

On October 27, 2025, Colin Hill’s father, Chris Hill, publicly asked for prayers, writing,

PLEASE PRAY FOR FULL RECOVERY IN JESUS NAME!!!!! #RaisehimupLord. PRAY HARD Y’ALL!!!! PRAY NOW PLEASE!!!!!

Just two days later, he shared the heartbreaking news that his son had passed away.

This suggests that Colin experienced a medical emergency, was admitted for treatment, and sadly did not recover.

While Chris has openly expressed his grief, he has not disclosed the specific cause of his beloved son’s death.

Family And Community Members Are Deeply Mourning The Heartbreaking Loss of Colin Hill!

Colin Hill was a beloved 14-year-old ninth-grade student at McCluer High School in North St. Louis County.

He was deeply committed to his studies and personal growth. Additionally, he was also actively involved in various sports at McCluer High School, including cross country.

His family, devastated by the loss, shared how proud they were of him and how much love surrounded him every day.

A GoFundMe campaign, “Our Son, Colin Hill- A Young King With a Gentle Heart,” was created by his family to support them during this unimaginable time.

The main aim of this fundraising is to help them with memorial and funeral expenses and to honor Colin’s memory.

The campaign has become a space where the community can express love, share memories, and offer support.

The world is mourning Colin’s loss with an outpouring of love and heartfelt tributes.

His father, Chris Hill, expressed his sadness, saying:

I never in a million years imagined I’d have to write this but on October 28th at 8:06 AM, my son Colin Hill finished his race here on earth and is now in the arms of the Lord. My heart is shattered! Losing my son Colin, has broken me in ways I can’t even explain! It has broken us ALL. Our family is devastated!!!

One of his well-wishers expressed his sadness, saying:

14-year-old Colin Hill who was in the 9th grade passed away on Tuesday, October 28th, after suffering a medical emergency at his high school, in North #StLouis County.

Colin was a young individual with a gentle heart who consistently pushed himself in sports, life, and every endeavor, never giving up even when tired.
