Liam Gleason, the head coach of the Siena College men’s lacrosse team, is in the hospital after a terrible accident at his house in Halfmoon, New York, on Sunday afternoon, November 30, 2025.
Reportedly, he fell down a set of stairs around four in the afternoon, hit his head badly, and stopped breathing for a time. In fact, things got so serious that paramedics had to do CPR while rushing him to the hospital.
Sadly, the tragic fall came just 2 days after celebrating his 41st birthday last Friday.
Sienna College put out a short statement asking everyone to keep Coach Gleason and his family in their thoughts and prayers. The school said it will not share any further details at this time out of respect for the family.
A GoFundMe page set up for the Gleason family had already raised more than $128,000 by Monday night.
Meanwhile, the whole Siena community is praying not just for Liam, but especially for his wife of 12 years, Jaclyn Gleason, a former soccer player, and their 3 little kids, daughter Kennedy, and sons Penn and Tate.
The longtime married couple met at the University at Albany and began dating in 2007.
After years of dating, Liam and Jaclyn tied the knot on September 13, 2013.
Almost three years into their marriage, the couple became parents for the first time when their daughter, Kennedy Lee Gleason, was born in May 2016.
