A former professional wrestler in WCW, Marcus Alexander Bagwell, better known as Buff Bagwell, was married twice before getting engaged to Stacy Brown.

Buff Bagwell is currently engaged to Stacy Brown. On December 24, 2024, Bagwell shared the joyful news of their engagement, calling it the happiest moment of their lives.

He proposed to Stacy, describing her as the most beautiful person inside and out.

In a social media post, the former wrestler penned, “Thank you, Stacy, for saying YES and making me the happiest man on the planet. I love you, Stacy.”

While not much is known about how they met, Bagwell’s post suggests a deep connection, highlighting Stacy’s positive impact on his life.

Buff Bagwell Was Married to His First Ex-wife, Alexis Rianja, For Six Years!

Buff Bagwell’s first marriage was to Alexis Rianja, whom he met in the late 1980s, when he was still a teenager and not yet a wrestling star.

Bagwell and Alexis tied the knot in 1988 when he was just 18 years old.

At the time, Bagwell was not yet a wrestling star but was already showing promise as an athlete.

Initially seemingly sound couple’s marriage lasted only six years, ending in divorce in 1994. However, the prime reason behind their failed marriage remains unknown so far.

Bagwell and Alexis didn’t have any children. Meanwhile, very little is known about Alexis Rianja, as she stayed out of the public eye.

Bagwell and His Second Ex-wife, Gabby Randallson, Divorced After 4 Years!

After two years of divorce from Alexis, Bagwell met Gabby Randallson around 1995.

By this time, he was becoming a well-known figure in WCW, famous for his charismatic “Buff” persona and muscular build.

Unfortunately, Bagwell’s second marriage also didn’t last long. Their marriage lasted four years, ending in divorce in 2000.

Bagwell and Gabby kept their matters private, hence, the reasons for their split are unclear.

Similarly, there are no confirmed reports of children from this marriage either.

After the divorce, Gabby stepped away from public life and has not been active on social media, choosing to live privately.

In Case You Didn’t Know

  • Bagwell survived a serious car crash in 2020, which led to 40 surgeries and ultimately a leg amputation in 2025.
  • His mother, Judy Bagwell, wasn’t a trained professional wrestler, but she became a WCW World Tag Team Champion in 1998 alongside Rick Steiner.
