Her mother, Mary, graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a B.S. degree in Biochemistry in 1987. However, details about her father, Joseph, aren’t available online.

Ella isn’t Mary and Joseph’s only child, but she has three brothers: Sam, Andrew, and Ben.

Not to mention, let alone Ella, Lacrosse skills run in her household. Her brother, Andrew, is a Duke men’s lacrosse team member, whereas Sam played lacrosse at Princeton from 2015 to 2018.

Ella earned a Bachelor of Science in Evolutionary Biology and Global Health from Duke in 2019 and then pursued a career in public health research.

She attended New York University and studied for a Master of Public Health in Nutrition and Food Policy. Currently, Ella’s work focuses on improving health outcomes in underserved communities.

The former Lacrosse player boasts an array of experience in program management and research strategy.

She currently serves as the Senior Program Manager for Research Strategy at Breakthrough T1D.

Before her tenure at Breakthrough T1D, she worked with the CDC Foundation as a program manager for a year, from November 2021 to October 2022.

Her experience extends to Weill Cornell Medicine, where she coordinated the INSIGHT Clinical Research Network.

Likewise, Ella contributed to the PAN Foundation as part of the Product Development team.
