“Dear CP💔,
I never thought in a million years I would have to post this.. We grew up from sandbox from pre-k to graduating high school tg i will never forget the time i had a break down in class and he came over and gave me the most biggest hug and said. “Ty you got this, keep your head up.” 💔 he was my brother my friend and red-neck😢. Sitting here writing this does not feel right. You were only 19 and just bc of someone’s bad behavior they took your life. Chris Parsley I’m sitting here with tears in my eyes you will be missed. Rest easy baby boy, we will get justice for you. “

Candice Allison, a family friend, reflected on the fragility of life:

Ashley Baltimore shared a deeply personal message, highlighting Chris’s role as a friend and honorary family member:

Chris had the brightest future. He was caring, funny, and learned to work hard for the things he wanted. He always looked out for Alayna, just like she was a sister. He vacationed with us, ate dinner with us and would show up unannounced and unexpectedly making the most annoying loud sounds. I wouldn’t have traded it. Tragically, early this morning that was all cut short. This bright young man was murdered. My friend has to bury her first born. Siblings have to learn to continue life without their big brother. Please lift this family up, say prayers and wrap your arms around them for healing.”
