Raphael Xavier Varane, born on April 25, 1993, in Lille, France, is a soccer player who is playing as a center-back for Manchester United in the Premier League.

Varane is acknowledged for his defensive prowess and speed and is also one of the best defenders of his era.

Raphael began training ahead of the 2010–11 season with the senior team, appeared on the bench in several league matches, and also played for French club Lens.

The player debuted professionally in 2010, but after a year of making his debut, he joined Real Madrid.

Xavier was there for 10 seasons from 2011 to 2021, where he achieved three Laliga titles, one Copa del Rey, not to mention four UEFA Champions League trophies, 18 FIFA Club World Cups, and four FIFA World Cups.

After that, he left Real Madrid and went to Manchester United in 2021.

The athlete was born to Gaston Varane and Annie Varane and has two siblings. Jonathan Varane, his brother, is currently playing professionally for Rodez AF.

Anabelle Varane, his sister, competed in Miss France 2019 and was also the 2018 Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais.

Gaston is originally from Le Morne Rouge, which makes the family Martiniquais, whereas his mother was raised in Saint-Amand Les Eaux.

Raphael Varane met Camille Tytgat in high school; they were in the same secondary school. The pair started dating in 2011 as an early romance couple and became life partners.

Raphael and Camille, a school sweetheart, married on June 20, 2015. They have already completed eight years and are still going strong and beautiful.
