The professional American basketball player Rhyne Howard has two brother, RaShawn Avery, and James Howard Jr.
After being drafted into the Atlanta Dream in the 2022 WNBA draft, Rhyne has been making a splash in the world of basketball.
Born on April 29, 2000, Howard was drafted first overall by the Atlanta team. Having played basketball since a young age, Rhyne played at Bradley Central high school.
She was also awarded the 2018 Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year and Tennessee Miss Basketball.
The point guard was lucky to feature in the national team, playing for the US team in 2018 and 2019.
Moreover, they won the gold medal and were among the top-rated recruits in the USA. Additionally, Rhyne Howard was also named SEC Player of the Year in 2020 and 2021.
In 2022, after scoring 2000 career points in college basketball, she became the third player in Wildcat’s history to reach that benchmark.
Rhyne Howard Brother
The basketball player, along with her brothers and sisters, was born to Rhvonja “RJ” Avery. Moreover, she has two brothers and sisters.
James and RaShawn Avery are the brothers, while Love and Takema Sexton are the sisters of the shooting guard.
Unlike their sister, they live a private life. Although the names of Rhyne’s family are known, not much apart from that is known to the public.
Furthermore, the father of Rhyne Howard is also not known. The brothers RaShawn and James have always been supportive of her career choice.
Alongside the coach of Kentucky, Kyra Elzy and her siblings helped Rhyne get into the Atlanta Dream.
Additionally, even on Instagram, Rhyne has not shared much about her personal life. She is often seen sharing posts about her team and herself.
She might be respecting the decisions of her family to not be in the public eye. Hence, we also need to respect their decisions.
Rhyme Howard Double Double
The shooting guard put up big numbers in the first game of her first game in the second season.
Moreover, she put up 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, making it a double-double stat in the game against Dallas Wings.
Unfortunately, the Atlanta team lost to the Dallas team 85 to 78.
Rhyme, who was named the Rookie of the Year in 2022, will be continuing the form and grabbing the title again.
She was also the No. 1 draft in the WNBA draft last season.
The point guard made eight of 24 shots from the field and made four three-pointers.
Additionally, Rhyme also did not shoot any free throws and battled foul trouble throughout, finishing with five.
Atlanta will be looking to push aside this loss when they face Minnesota.
