Ray Lewis III, the 28-year-old son of Baltimore Ravens legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer Ray Lewis, tragically passed away.
His younger brother, Rahsaan Lewis, shared the news of his sibling’s death on June 16, 2023, through an Instagram story.
The specific details regarding his death have yet to be revealed.
Ray III started his football career as a running back at Lake Mary High School in Florida.
Like his father, Ray Lewis III then played collegiate football at Miami.
Initially, he played as a running back before transitioning to cornerback during his time at Coastal Carolina and Division II Virginia Union.
Ray Lewis Jr was a star player for the Baltimore Ravens from 1996 to 2012.
He won the Super Bowl championship twice (XXXV, XLVII) and received the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award (2000, 2003).

The late Ray Lewis III was born to Ray Lewis Jr and Tatyana McCall on June 5, 1995, in the United States.
His parents crossed paths at the University of Miami, where McCall met the XXXV Super Bowl MVP.
They share three sons: Lewis III, Raydhad, and Rahsaan. Unfortunately, Ray Lewis Jr and Tatyana are no longer together.

Tatyana has been working as a Sr Principal of Public Relations in Northrop Grumman since August 2022.
In addition, she serves as the virtual learning lab coordinator at Orange County Public Schools.
Furthermore, Tatyana owns McCall Diversified Enterprises, a business consulting firm specializing in management, marketing, and special events.
Prior to her current position, she worked as a public information officer at Broward County Government for nearly four years, from March 2019 to August 2022.
Tatyana also held the Associate Professor of Business position at the University of Phoenix for eleven years.
Moreover, she also worked as the Director of Public Relations at Kenard Lang Foundation and the Arena Football League.
Regarding her education, she attended the University of Miami before enrolling at the University of Phoenix.
Tatyana then graduated with a master’s degree in management and marketing at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College.
Late Ray Lewis III is survived by his five siblings; brother Rahsaan, Rayshad, and Ralin, and sisters Diaymon and Kaitlin Lewis.
His brother, Rayshad Lewis, attended Bishop Moore High School and played football.
Rayshad then committed to play collegiate at Utah State before transferring to Maryland.
Ray’s other brother, Rahsaan, also played collegiate football for UCF Knights, Florida Atlantic Owls, and Kentucky Wildcats.
Talking about Ralin, he played varsity football for Wootton High School.
The eldest daughter of Ray Lewis, Diaymon, had the honor of presenting him when he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in August 2018.
