Offensive linebacker Doug Kramer penned a lengthy encouraging message for his daughter, Scarlett Louvelle, who changed her sport of choice from Taekwondo to tennis a year ago.
As a proud and encouraging father, Kramer took to his Instagram to write words of encouragement for Scarlett, who might have been overwhelmed by shifting her sports over a year ago.
In an Instagram post on January 29, 2025, Kramer shared a carousel comprising 17 photos of Scarlett in action on the tennis court.
In the caption, he wrote that it was a tough decision for Scarlett, as taekwondo was the first sport she truly loved. However, she wanted to find a sport she could grow to love and embrace.
It’s been over a year since Scarlett had shifted from Taekwondo to Tennis. It was a tough decision for Scar, coming from the first sport she truly liked to do.
Kramer also revealed that despite some initial tears, Scarlett has no regrets and is enjoying her new journey in tennis.
In fact, he wrote words of encouragement motivating and letting Scarlett know that they are cheering for him, writing,
We’re all looking forward to our warrior princess to hit the court and compete again. And as you can see, her smile while playing says it all.
On top of that, he also took the opportunity to ask his followers to help uplift Scarlett or any other kid trying something new, writing, “When you see her compete and give her all during matches this year, don’t bring her down, but encourage and support a child that has found a new passion.”
Kramer also gave a quick reminder at last, saying,
Daddy and Mommy are right here to support and love you no matter the outcome.
