Ricky Dale McPeak, a beloved community member, passed away on September 23, 2025, just five days before his 49th birthday, at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.

While the cause of Ricky McPeak’s death remains private, his passing left his family heartbroken and his community in quiet mourning.

Ricky Dale McPeak Was A High School Athlete!

Born in Bowling Green, KY, he was a beloved student-athlete at Allen County Scottsville High School.

Although he kept his personal struggles and profession private, he was a beloved member of his community.

His high school friends used to describe Ricky McPeak as a great friend, loyal, funny, and always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh.

Ricky’s tragic passing left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and well-wishers.

One of his friends expressed sadness over his passing, saying:

Ricky was a great friend to me when we were in school. We didn’t see each other much after we got out of school but when we did he was the same friend I remembered back then. You will be greatly missed!!

His loss is deeply felt by his children, Jaylon, Jaquez, and Julyan McPeak, as well as his grandchildren, Adley and Holland McPeak.

He is also mourned by his mother, Betty Lou McPeak Stovall, his stepfather Jimmy Gentry, and his sister Charlene Robinson.

Moreover, Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Bunton.

His family and friends gathered at Scottsville Church of Christ to honor his life.

Regarding the memorial, Ricky McPeak’s funeral and celebration of life will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Scottsville Church of Christ.

Moreover, the visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and will be followed by a heartfelt service at 3:00 PM, celebrating Ricky’s life.
