With all three siblings immersed in basketball, Nolan rising on the international stage, Armel playing professionally, and Annaëlle following closely behind, the Traoré parents must be immensely proud of the legacy their children are building.

Nolan Traoré is a 19-year-old French basketball player known for his blazing speed, playmaking ability, and positional size.

Born on May 28, 2006, in Créteil, France, he grew up in Chennevières-sur-Marne, where he picked up a basketball at the age of four.

He began his journey with COC Chennevières (2010–2014) and then moved to VGA Saint-Maur Omnisports, where he played in the U9 to U11 categories.

By 2017, he played for Saint-Charles Charenton, where he averaged 11.6 points, 5.1 assists, and 1.7 rebounds per game.

Recently, he was drafted by the Brooklyn Nets on June 25, 2025, with the 19th overall pick in the NBA Draft.

Nolan Traore’s Family Is Deeply Immersed In Sports, Especially Basketball!

Nolan Traoré comes from a tight-knit and athletically gifted family that has played a major role in shaping his basketball journey.

His mother, Nolwenn Traoré, has provided a strong foundation for shaping Nolan’s character both on and off the court.

Though his father’s name hasn’t been publicly shared, he’s known to be a supportive figure who fueled Nolan’s early love for the game.

Now, regarding his siblings, Nolan’s older brother, Armel Traoré, born in 2003, is also a professional basketball player.

Armel began with Centre Fédéral before advancing to top-tier French clubs, including Metropolitans 92 and ADA Blois.

In 2024, he signed a two-way deal with the Los Angeles Lakers and played with their G-League affiliate, South Bay Lakers, before moving on to Bàsquet Manresa in Spain’s Liga ACB.

As a mentor and role model, Armel’s influence has been pivotal in Nolan’s development.

Their younger sister, Annaëlle Traoré, is currently training at Pôle Espoirs Île-de-France, the same elite development program Nolan once attended.

She is emerging as a promising talent in her own right.

The Traoré family isn’t just full of athletic talent; they’re united by deep support, shared ambition, and a collective love for the sport.
