The latest Chelsea signing, Sanchez, said goodbye to his home at 15. It was tough for Juan and Maria to let their only son go on his adventures in an unknown country, but at the same time, they were supportive of him.
In his previous interviews, the goalkeeper talked about his parents’ sacrifices, eventually leading him to play in the Premier League.
In summer, Maria would search for soccer camps for her son to polish his skills, and his father would start work early on some days so he could take Robert to training.
When Robert found out about his debut against Tottenham Hotspurs in 2020, the first person he called was Maria.
Sanchez previously said he calls his mom whenever he gets time, and Maria always makes sure to let her son know how proud he has made her.
Robert has a little sister, whom the GK has featured a few times on his Instagram handle. Maria and Juan are quite private and aren’t available on social media.
Robert Sanchez And Girlfriend Zuzana Are Expecting
Robert Sanchez has been in a romantic relationship with Zuzana since 2020. The couple became Instagram official in August 2020 after their trip to Santorini, Greece.
Robert captioned the post, “First adventure together and more to come.” Since then, Robert hasn’t stopped sharing loved-up pictures with his assiduously private girlfriend.
In December 2020, he shared a sweet photo of him placing a kiss on his girlfriend as he wished her on her birthday.
The appreciation and birthday posts might be something the couple does back and forth for each other but with Zuzana’s Instagram private, we can’t say much about their social media interaction.
In March 2021, taking a break from his schedule, Robert went on a date with his girlfriend at Seven Sisters Cliff. He shared the cute selfie taken by his girlfriend on his Instagram.
Later that year, celebrating his 24th birthday, Robert shared a photo of him and Zuzana and captioned the post, “Nothing else I need.”
During the 2022 Premiere League break, the couple jetted off to Mexico and enjoyed their time at Laguna Kann Luum Beach. The couple celebrated its second anniversary on July 18, 2022, with a dinner date at Mayfair.
Zuzana likely made a trip to Qatar with her partner, and though Robert didn’t share any pictures with her during the World Cup campaign, he shared one during their trip to Dubai.
Earlier this year, on July 9, the goalkeeper announced he and Zuzana were becoming first-time parents. He shared a post with four polaroid pictures in which Zuzana can be seen showing her growing baby bump.
Sanchez captioned the post, “The beginning of a new adventure, can not wait to meet you!!!”
