The professional football player Ronnie Bell is the first of the four children of his parents, Aaron and Renee Bell. He was born to them on January 28, 2000, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Ronnie’s obsession with football started during childhood as his dad was a wide receiver coach at Missouri Western State. 

When Ronnie changed his mind and told Aaron he would choose football even after getting a basketball scholarship in Missouri, he told his son to follow his heart. Consequently, Ronnie opted to play college football for the Wolverines.

Ronald Bell, nicknamed Ronnie, is an American professional football player who currently plays for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League.

A University of Michigan graduate, the 49ers drafted him in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft. 

Before Michigan, he attended Park Hill High School in Kansas City and played basketball and football for their varsity team.

He even committed to playing basketball in Missouri but eventually decided to play football for Michigan.

Although he decided to become a professional athlete, Ronnie completed his undergraduate studies. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in English in 2021.

The Kansas City residents, Aaron and Renee Bell, are the parents of NFL player Ronnie Bell. Besides Ronnie, they have three kids- two sons and a daughter.

Born and raised in Missouri, Ronnie’s father, Aaron, grew up with his sisters and attended Raytown South Senior High School.

Aaron later played collegiate football for the Pittsburgh State. Following his graduation, he started his coaching career.

Bell was a wide receiver coach for the Missouri Western State University for around eight years, starting in 2006.

After leaving his job there, he later served as an assistant football coach at KIPP Legacy High School, Park Hill High, and North Kansas City High School.

Aaron rejoined the Griffon coaching staff again after over a decade at the request of head coach Tyler Fenwick in 2023.

On the other hand, Ronnie’s mother, Renee, was born in Fort Scott, Kansas.

Growing up in her birth town, she attended Fort Scott Senior High School before joining Pittsburgh State University, where she met Ronnie’s dad, Aaron.

The pair married on June 8, 2002, and reside in Kansas City, Missouri.

However, he mostly played as a quarterback back when he played for Park Hill High School under head coach Andy Sims.

He was a letter-winner in track and field events and basketball as well.

Likewise, the other brother, Marqueas, joined Southeast Missouri State University in 2023.

He has committed to play as a guard for the Redhawks basketball team under the head coach Keith Pickens.

During his senior season with Park Hill, Marqueas averaged around 20.0 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.
