Sawyer Garrison, a student-athlete of Larry A. Ryle High School in Union, Kentucky, passed away, leaving her parents and loved ones devastated.

Sawyer, a member of the Class of 2028 of Ryle High, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

Ryle High School has not yet released a statement regarding Garrison’s passing, nor have her parents shared any details.

While information about the cause of her untimely demise is not available yet, the whole Ryle High School community mourns the loss of their star student.

Moreover, she recorded a personal best of 24:31.40 in the 5000-meter run during the 2023 season in cross country.

Sawyer’s presence on the team and in the community was invaluable, and she will be deeply missed by her teammates, coaches, and all who knew her.
