NBA star Domantas Sabonis and his wife, Shashana, have built a tight-knit family of five, including their three kids.
Domantas met his wife, Shashana, back in 2019 at Catch, that seafood spot in Los Angeles.
They didn’t make a big deal about dating at first. However, things moved quickly before they knew it, and they engaged in 2020.
A year later, they married in August 2021 on the French Riviera, surrounded by a small group of family and friends.
The couple now has three kids; they first experienced parenthood with the arrival of their son, Tiger, on March 11, 2022.
Shashana used to run dance studios in LA, but after their first kid came along, she stepped away to focus on being a mom.
Later, the couple expanded their family from three to four with the birth of their daughter, Eleven Rose, on July 11, 2023.
Two years later, Domantas and Shashana completed their family of five, welcoming their son, Tauras Levi Sabonis, on June 5, 2025.
Domantas has said more than once that she’s the one who pushes him to open up, especially when cameras are around.
They told People magazine they’re “soaking in every little moment” with the new baby and feel lucky to be a family of five now.
Becoming his parents has already been the most rewarding and humbling experience, and we’re soaking in every little moment with him. He’s healthy, happy and has completely stolen our hearts. We’re grateful for this new chapter as a family of five, and so thankful for the love and support from our family and friends
Domantas doesn’t talk kids in every interview, but when he does, it’s real.
In the Netflix series Starting 5 last year, he gave a glimpse into his home life. He said Shashana was the reason he even agreed to be on the show.
“Anyone who knows me knows I’m the one who doesn’t like being in front of cameras. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be here today,” he told reporter Tony Ray Harvey.
Ocassionally, he shares family moments on Instagram, like Tiger’s third birthday back in March, with pics of the kid jumping in the pool and eating pancakes.
