Acho’s professional journey began as the sixth-round pick of the Cleveland Browns in the 2012 NFL draft.

However, his NFL career was short-lived and mostly featured in the practice squad of the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants.

Nonetheless, after his football career, he turned into an analyst for the Longhorn Network and later got promoted to cover ESPN2’s college football.

On the other hand, Sam’s other sister, Stephanie Acho Mbah, is a Hospitality Management Consultant and a PhD holder.

She attended Syracuse University and earned her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Food Service Management in 2008.

Later, she graduated with dual masters (MBA/MS) in Strategic Management and Hospitality Management in 2012.

Similarly, Sam’s sister did her PhD in Hospitality Administration/Management from Texas Tech University.

Besides working as a graduate teaching fellow at different institutions, she has experience working as a general manager at Asian Mint.
