Sam Hauser is a professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the NBA. He started his NBA journey with the Celtics in 2021 as an undrafted free agent.
He signed a two-way contract with the Boston franchise on August 13, 2021, and later agreed on a three-year/$6 million deal on July 3, 2022.
Houser played for Stevens Point Area Senior High School, Marquette University, and the University of Virginia.
During high school, he was named Wisconsin Gatorade Player of the Year.

The professional basketball player has an elder sister Nicole Hauser, aka Nicki Hauser. Nicki is about three years older than her brother, as she was born on October 5, 1994.
She was a member of the varsity women’s volleyball team at Steven Point High School. During high school, she earned honorable mention All-Wisconsin Valley Conference honors.
Nicki was a member of three sports; volleyball, basketball, and softball. She was a three-year varsity letter winner in basketball and a four-year varsity letter winner in softball.
Among the three sports, her favorite was volleyball and she led Panthers to WIAA Division I regional title as a junior and senior.
She was also named the Most Valuable Player of the Year as a senior.
After high school, Hauser played volleyball at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a marketing concentration and a Spanish minor.
Later, she completed her master’s degree in sports management from Briar Cliff University and leadership in sports from North Dakota State.
On May 24, 2021, Hauser was named director of operations on Shannon Wells’ staff.
Also, she works as High School Attendance Auditor at Stevens Point Area Senior High School.

Sam Hauser was born to his parents, Dave and Stephanie Hauser, on December 8, 1997, in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
His father, Dave, was an assistant basketball coach at Winneconne (Wisconsin) High.
Besides a sister, the professional basketball player has another sibling, a brother named Joey.
Joey was born on July 17, 1999, and played for the Michigan State Spartans of the Big Ten Conference. Sam and Joey were teammates for two years of Sam’s high school career.
The Hauser brothers, along with their sister, used to spend their winters practicing basketball during elementary school.

Mary is the daughter of Dave and Linda Dodge. She also has a brother named Nate Dodge, who is married to Lyss.
Mary played volleyball for Wisconsin and was a member of the TAMUCC Beach Volleyball in 2021.
After almost eight years of relationship, Sam finally popped the question on August 20, 2022.
