Brock Purdy’s Sister, Whittney Purdy, Recently Announced Her Engagement!

San Francisco 49ers pride Brock Purdy grew up in a competitive household. Both of his siblings were equally into sports.

His elder sister, Whittney Purdy, is the eldest of the three siblings, while his younger brother, Chubba Purdy, is the youngest.

All three Purdy siblings shared a strong bond growing up, grounded in their mutual love for sports and the competitive spirit that filled their homes.

Not to forget, their father, Shawn Purdy, played minor league baseball, which significantly influenced the Purdy siblings’ interest in sports.

Shawn’s time and experience with the Pittsburgh Pirates influenced and shaped his children’s athletic pursuits.

Whittney laid the foundation for the next generation of Purdy athletes as she went on to play collegiate softball at Southeastern University.

Born November 1997, Whittney carried her father’s legacy into her collegiate softball career.

She enrolled at Spartanburg Methodist College, where she played 81 games between 2016 and 2018.

However, Whittney transferred to Southeastern University, a private Christian university in Lakeland, Florida.

She joined the university’s softball team to continue her softball career, which she began during high school.

She got a golden opportunity to showcase her talent by playing as the third baseman and shortstop for the university team.

Moreover, Whittney played 65 games and contributed nine wins for the team. In March 2020, she played her last game as a college athlete against Keiser University.

Besides her collegiate sports career, Whittney has completed a two-month internship as a Switch marketing assistant.

Then, she volunteered as a customer support specialist at the American Heart Association.

Moreover, Whittney recently announced her engagement with her long-time boyfriend, Jared Schmidt.

She took to her Instagram, writing:
