A survivor shared her childhood experience of being abused by a coach she once trusted and looked up to like a father, revealing how manipulation, fear, and silence shaped years of hidden trauma.

Priscilla Banos describes years of abuse she endured at the hands of her former coach, Ernest Ramirez, beginning when she was just six years old.

She explains that he used drugs, fear, manipulation, and his position of trust to control her, leading to long‑lasting emotional, physical, and psychological harm.

She writes about the confusion, isolation, and silence she lived in for years, and how the abuse shaped her sense of safety, self‑worth, and trust.

Priscilla also emphasizes that Ramirez’s public image and the people who enabled him allowed the abuse to continue unchecked.

She notes that Ramirez has since pleaded guilty and been sentenced to 32 years in prison.

In her Facebook post, Priscilla explains how people around her ignored the signs of abuse and how enablers helped Ramirez maintain his reputation.

She says many believed his charm, which made it harder for victims to be heard.

Describing the abuse, she stated that the abuse continued because everything looked “normal” on the surface, and how others helped him hide the truth.

Additionally, she shared the full statement she read to him in court, telling him he never controlled her and that his guilty plea proves survivors were telling the truth.

Calling him a predator, she criticized those who supported him after his arrest and named individuals she believes enabled him.

Also, she expressed anger toward anyone who defends abusers, including public figures, and says people who still praise him after knowing his crimes are part of the problem.

Priscilla also talks about her healing, saying she is coaching again, plans to fight one day, and is building a future with Kassandra.

At the end of her post, she thanked everyone who supported her, saying:

Lastly I want to thank EVERYONE who was there from the start, supporting me in whatever way they could. I genuinely appreciate it, I won’t list all of you because you deserve mote then to be tagged in a post with a chomo. My support system has forsure been there for me and I hope one day you all receive blessings from Jesus Christ himself. I love you all so deeply! Thank you for everything!

People reacting to her post shared their support, admiration, and personal reflections, each offering their perspective on her courage.

One commenter shared their unwavering support, saying,

I love you Priscilla. You are so strong and brave. From the beginning you were there for me and have been the biggest support system. I got your back always. Your spirit will always be so strong and this does not define who we are. I got you then and I got you now.

Another shared their heartbreak and respect, saying,

You are such a strong person Princess, fearless. We are all so Damm proud of your success. Your turn around is all-inspiring to millions of abused children. You are defining your own present and future. Together with your family, friends and Kassandra, you can only find happiness and the life of love you deserve. God bless you Priscilla Banos, I applaud your post and the sheer strength it took to write it. F*CK that P*TO, he will rot in living jail hell.
