After his collegiate career at Boston College, he declared for the 2007 NBA draft. However, Marshall went undrafted and signed with Pinar Karsiyaka of the Turkish Basketball League.

After playing a season with Rizing Zephyr, he announced his retirement from his professional playing career in 2020.

Sean’s wife is also a philanthropist and frequent contributor at the ALS Foundation.

Talking to the PEOPLE, the reality TV star addressed the controversy regarding her argument with Alex.
She said the argument stemmed from her nature to stand up for others. During the second season of the Netflix reality show, the cast ventured to Cabo to check out The Oppenheim Group’s first billion-dollar listing.
In the show, Kayla Cardona accused Alex Hall of making out with Tyler Stanaland, which escalated into a loud quarrel.
While the two, Cardona and Hall, were involved in a heated argument. Marshall intervened, “Hall, I hate how you talk to people.”
She added, “I hate being talked down to. We’re equal, dawgs. I don’t like being spoken down to.”
Earlier in the season, Marshall confronted Hall regarding the rumors of her being linked with Stanaland.
Moreover, the two had difficulty getting along as their communication styles were drastically different and incompatible.
