Coach P hurt Jeremiah with his decision.

Jeremiah Hunter is a name to remember at Seneca High School.

He is a member of the class of 2028 and has been making his mark as a standout athlete in both football and basketball.

On the gridiron, the 5’8″, 155-pound athlete plays wide receiver, using his agility and speed to break free from defenders. Likewise, he takes his talents to the court as a point guard for the basketball team.

His teammates praise his versatile scoring ability. He shines as a playmaker, skillfully creating opportunities both for himself and for those around him.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported me along the way. Y’all encouragement, guidance, and belief in me have been invaluable, and I am truly thankful for y’all presence in my life. I couldn’t have reached this milestone without y’all❤️🏀🤝🏽

However, Coach P removed him from the team, which hurt his feelings.

I tell you this coach Padgett, you might have removed him from the team, but you didn’t stop what God has in plans for him.

Jasmine Hunter

In her Facebook post, Jasmine vowed the setback would only motivate her son further.

She is optimistic about Jeremiah’s future and believes that when one door is closed, another opens. She believes in her son.

Seneca High School administration has not yet issued a public statement regarding the incident or the specific reasons for Jeremiah Hunter’s removal from the team.

Her post gained wide attention and raised questions about team communication and player-coach dynamics.

My son plays football and basketball, and he looks up to Jerb. Every play he’s done from football to basketball, he shows me, and he always says “Jerb the goat” 🐐. He’s definitely going places and definitely is an inspiration to many kids. ❤️
