Not only is Shaquem the brother, but he is the twin brother of Shaquill.
When he was just 4 years old, he had his left hand amputated, but that did not let him become the man and player he was.
Additionally, Shaquem was selected as a fifth-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Seahawks.
He signed a four-year deal worth $2.8 million with $300,000 guaranteed on May 17, 2018.
Showing his skills on the pitch, he was the leading player in his team in tackles. However, the younger brother was waived by the Seahawks during final roster cuts in 2020.
Then, he joined the Miami Dolphins on July 23, 2021, with a one-year contract.
Shaquem had some good form with the Dolphins; unfortunately, he was again waived on August 31, 2021.
Subsequently, Shaquem Griffin was released on October 19. After years of bad luck, on August 24, 2022, Shaquem announced that he is quitting the game.
Hence, he announced his retirement from American football after four seasons that had its ups and downs.

The brothers have also been athletic since a young age and have competed together in sports like track, baseball, and football.
There were rumors that the Griffin brothers have lost their parents; however, that is not true.
Additionally, it was the twin brother’s agent Buddy Baker who unfortunately lost his parents. COVID-19, sadly, struck close to home for football players.
Baker announced through his Twitter that he lost his parents to the virus.
On the other hand, Griffin’s parents are very loving and supportive of their children. However, regarding the information about them is not known due to their private life.
Furthermore, Shaquill and Shaquem also often show their love and affection for their parents on their respective social media.
