Sierra Snyder, the Wife of Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tight End Cade Otton and Mother of His Daughter, Is a Former Collegiate Basketball Player!

The football player, Cade Otton, married his high school sweetheart, Sierra Snyder, in 2021 after years of dating.

Cade and Sierra first ran into each other in 8th grade at a basketball game in Tumwater, Washington.

Although the precise details surrounding their relationship timeline remain concealed, eventually, they become head over heels for each other.

They started dating during high school and have been inseparable ever since. Cade and Sierra took a big step in their relationship, marrying on January 9, 2021.

Born and raised in Olympia, Washington, Sierra has always had Cade’s back ever since they started dating.

After a significant period of courtship, Cade went on his knees to pop the question to Sierra in October 2020, and it was the easiest YES for Sierra.

Cade proposed to Sierra in a romantic setting above Snoqualmie Falls. The couple tied the knot just three months later, on January 9, 2021.

The tight end took to his Instagram to wish Sierra on the commemoration of their 5th wedding anniversary, writing:

Cade and Sierra announced their pregnancy on Instagram on February 22, 2024, posting pictures from their pregnancy photoshoot and the sonogram.

The long-term couple became first-time parents with the arrival of their daughter, Tenille Dawn Otton, on June 27, 2024.

The name Tenille, of Gaelic origin, means “the Bringer of the Dawn Light,” symbolizing the bright future ahead for their family.

Cade shared a family photo of him and Sierra holding their baby girl, writing a heartwarming caption that reads, “Tenille Dawn Otton, “bringer of the morning light. Born at home June 27th, 2024.”

Originally from Olympia, Washington, Cade was born to her parents, Dan and Rhonda Snyder, as one of four children. She has three siblings: two sisters, Jessica and Samantha, and a brother, Austin Snyder.

Sierra was a standout basketball player in high school and even captained the Tumwater High School team.

Her skills were recognized through multiple first-team All-League selections. Likewise, Sierra was further acknowledged with first-team All-Area honors and an All-State Honorable Mention.

When Alyssa Vogt took over as Tumwater High School’s girls’ basketball coach, she immediately noticed Sierra Snyder.

Sierra had made significant progress in her basketball career by her senior year.

On January 31, 2017, during a Class 2A Evergreen Conference game against W.F. West, she scored her 1,000th career point. This remarkable achievement placed her in the elite 1,000 Point Club.

Throughout her high school career, she consistently delivered impressive performances. Sierra averaged 17.8 points per game during her senior year and scored in double digits in all 17 games that season.

Her ability to score 20 or more points in six games spoke volumes about her capability.

Sierra even earned the title of Female Athlete of the Year in 2017. In addition to her athletic skills, she graduated with Academic Honors.

Cade’s wife, Sierra, loves watching former NBA star Tim Duncan play. Besides her inclination towards sports, she enjoys hiking, playing soccer, and traveling.
