Skateboarder Aronde Odom, 27, Passed Away In Accident, Leaving His Parents Behind

Aronde Odom, a talented and beloved skateboarder from Fall River, Massachusetts, tragically passed away in a recent accident that occurred on March 30, 2025.

At the time, he was riding his bicycle on Parker Verge streets in Springfield when he was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Parker and Verge Streets.

As per the report, he passed away due to his injuries. The driver fled the scene on foot but later turned himself in at the Springfield police headquarters.

According to Ryan Walsh, the Police spokesperson, he was taken into custody for both an unrelated warrant and his involvement in the accident.

Aronde Odom Was The Best Skateboarder Of His Skateboarding Community!

Known for his exceptional skateboarding skills and warm personality, Aronde was a central figure in his local skateboarding community.

    His passion for skateboarding began at an early age, and he quickly became a key figure in his local skateboarding community.

    He was admired not only for his fearless tricks and creativity but also for his kindness and willingness to mentor others.

    He inspired many young skaters to push their limits and embrace the sport with enthusiasm.

    Beyond skating, he had a deep love for cycling, which he often shared through his social media posts.

    Additionally, he was an active game streamer with a Twitch account, @chosenfewgamin.

    Regarding his education, Aronde graduated from B.M.C. Durfee High School in 2013. His education laid the foundation for his journey as a skateboarder and community leader.

    He was deeply connected to his family, including his parents, who were a source of strength and support throughout his life.

    His mother, Jamm Odom, is undoubtedly facing an unimaginable loss. It seems like Jamm raised him as a single parent.

    She once clarified her situation when someone commented,

    Jamm Odom is that son or hubby in yellow..omgggg them boyys look like they daddy..lol

    She responded graciously, stating that she doesn’t have a husband.

    His sudden loss has deeply affected his family, friends, and fellow skaters, who remember him as a kind and inspiring individual.

    The community has come together to honor his memory with initiatives like naming a new skatepark after him and holding memorial events.

    One of Odom’s friends, Shane Alves, shared a heartfelt tribute during the vigil held in his honor.

    He expressed how much Arnode meant to the skating community and said:

    He was a big part of the skate community and was loved by many of us. He touched others too from all over. You can see the crowd that came together tonight, and this is just a small number of friends that know him from the park. He had a smile that could light up a room, and he was always there when his family & friends needed him.

    These tributes reflect the profound impact he had on those around him and the legacy he leaves behind.
