His stepdad fortunately supported his athletic aspirations and helped him train at a soccer academy.
Originally trained in Bungay Town and Norwich City, Liam joined Ipswich Town in 2002.
After spending three years there, he turned professional and played for a season with Ipswich Town’s senior team.
Following his release, he played briefly for the non-league teams, including the Bishop’s Stortford, Long Melford, and Leiston.
