Dani Rhodes, an American former professional soccer player and the longtime wife of the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers star, T.J. Watt, often expresses her love and respect for her parents.

The former Wisconsin Badgers star, Dani Marie Rhodes Watt, was born on April 8, 1998, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, as the only daughter to parents Dan and Deann Rhodes.

Dani Rhodes is a proud sister of two brothers, Drew and Dylan Rhodes.

While it is unclear whether Dani Rhodes’ parents, Dan and Deann, played sports in high school and college, they guided all their children to be exceptional athletes.

She further continued her professional journey with Þróttur Reykjavík of the Icelandic top-tier Úrvalsdeild kvenna, before retiring from soccer in February 2023.

Drew Rhodes was a four-time letterwinner and two-year starter in football, a three-time letterwinner and two-year starter in basketball, and a two-year starter in track at Waukesha West High School.

He played collegiate football at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and St. Norbert College before beginning his career in the Insurance industry.

Similarly, Dani Rhodes’ younger brother, Dylan Rhodes, played football and basketball at Waukesha West High School and St. Norbert College.

Dani Rhodes’ father, Dan Rhodes, is excelling in a three-decade-long career in the Pharmaceutical industry.

Dan Rhodes earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and began his career with Zeneca Pharmaceuticals in 1991.

He initially joined Zeneca Pharmaceuticals as a medical sales representative, and after serving in his position for over four years, Dan Rhodes was promoted to Oncology Specialist.

After working with Zeneca Pharmaceuticals for six years, Dan Rhodes joined Genentech as a senior clinical oncology specialist in 1997 and later served as the division manager for over ten years.

Likewise, after nearly 16 years with Genentech, Dan Rhodes continued his career with Pharmacyclics, serving as a division manager and regional sales director.

Talking about Dani Rhodes’ mother, Deann Hoberg Rhodes was born to late mother Norma D. Hoberg and father, David William Hoberg, in Altoona, Wisconsin. Her mother passed away on December 18, 2015, at the age of 71.
