They welcomed two kids together in their 7 years of conjugal life.

He attended Smyrna High School and was a baseball and football varsity team member.
As a quarterback for Smyrna’s football team, he guided them to back-to-back 5A State titles in 2006 and 2007.
Despite being picked by the Chicago Cubs in the 27th round of the 2008 MLB draft, he opted to play collegiate baseball at Vanderbilt University.
He began his professional baseball in the minor league as the 18th overall pick of the Oakland Athletics in the 2011 MLB draft.
His MLB debut came with the A’s on August 10, 2013, against Toronto Blue Jays in Toronto.
Later, he went on to play with other MLB teams like New York Yankees and Cincinnati Reds before joining his present team, the Twins.
Sonny Gray Wife Jessica Forkum: Married Life And Kids

Her father, Greg, oversees a local business as an executive, and her mother, Patricia, serves as a manager at a local salon.
How Sonny Gray and Jessica Forkum Got Together?
Sonny and Jessica met each other during their time at Smyrna High School.
They were just friends in high school, and it was only after graduation that they started dating.
The couple tied the knot on November 12, 2016, in their family and friends’ presence, including some of Sonny’s teammates.
Their first child, Gunner Carmack Gray, was born on January 27, 2015, while they were dating.
Similarly, their second child, Declan, was in September 2018. During the birth of their second child, Sonny took paternity leave to take care of his wife and son.
Both of their sons are massive baseball card collectors. Along with Byron Buston’s son, they were featured on one of the episodes of MLB’s Carded.
Losing A Father And Being One To His Sons
When Sonny was just 15, he went through one of the darkest phases of his life. He lost his father in an auto accident coming home from work in 2004.
He didn’t know that his father was doing another job at a car-wash chain.
After his father’s untimely demise, he was in a dilemma about whether to continue his career or drop everything.
But he knew what his father would have wanted and showed up to his freshman football game that night.
There was always a void in his heart, even though other father figures came into Gray’s life, from his coaches to his stepdad, Barry Craig.
However, his mother and sisters, Jessica and Katie, were always there to support him.
Every Father’s Day would bring an unfillable void for years. But after he became a father to his first child in 2015, he started looking at that day differently.
Now, he began a lifelong process of transferring much of what his father left him to his kids.
