Raugh was a versatile junior at South Adams High School in Berne, Indiana, graduating with the Class of 2027.
Standing 5’9″ and weighing 170 pounds, he was a steady contributor to the South Adams Varsity Football team since his freshman year.

Dallas Raugh And His Mother Died After An Accident In The Town Of Monroe
Dallas Raugh and his mother, Thera, 41, were both pronounced dead on July 8, 2025, at the scene after their vehicle collided with a semitruck near the intersection of U.S. 27 and State Road 124, which is at the western edge of Monroe.
Police determined that, potentially due to foggy conditions, the car ran a red light and T-boned the semi as it was passing through the intersection.
The car became lodged underneath the trailer. Investigators identified the semi-truck driver as Frank J. Quinn, 87, of Pawlet, Vermont.
Officials said he was trying to help a turtle cross the roadway.
A car Raugh was driving slowed down to avoid hitting a truck, but a pickup truck behind the car didn’t stop in time and rear-ended the first vehicle, sending it veering off the road.
The investigation is ongoing. Authorities urge drivers to exercise caution in foggy conditions and obey traffic signals to ensure their safety.
