Legendary sportscaster Jim Nantz is known to millions as the voice behind some of the biggest moments in sports, from the Masters to the Super Bowl.

But beyond the bright lights of the broadcast booth, Nantz leads a quiet and proud life as a father to three children, each playing a unique role in his life story.

Nantz’s first child, Caroline, was born during his first marriage to Ann-Lorraine Carlsen Nantz.

Though not often in the spotlight, Caroline has occasionally accompanied her father to public events and remains a cherished part of his life.

Nantz has spoken in interviews about his deep bond with her and how becoming a father for the first time was one of the most important moments in his life.

Later in life, Nantz found love again with his second wife, Courtney Richards. The couple married in 2012 and now share two young children: a daughter, Finley, and a son named Jameson.

Despite his demanding travel schedule, he makes family a top priority and treasures his time at home.

Jim Nantz Proudly Supports Son Jameson’s Golf And Football Passion

Jameson, born on February 7, 2016, arrived just days before his dad was set to announce Super Bowl 50.

Jim often jokes that his son has a great sense of timing, showing up right before one of the biggest games of the year.

Now about 8 years old, Jameson lives with his parents and older sister, Finley, in Nashville, Tennessee.

The family moved there in 2021 to help Jim cut back on travel and spend more time at home.

Before that, they lived in Pebble Beach, California—a beautiful place, but not the most convenient for a father constantly on the road.

At home in Nashville, the backyard is anything but ordinary.

Jim had a mini golf hole built to look like the 13th at Augusta National, one of the most famous courses in the world.

But it’s not just for show as Jameson and his sisters, Finley and Caroline, enjoy playing and making memories there.

Only in March, Jim Nantz was spotted proudly caddying for his young son Jameson during the SnedsTour event at the Little Course.

In response, many were impressed by Jameson’s skill, with some predicting a bright future for him in the sport.

Others were eager to know if his impressive putt actually made it into the hole, as the video didn’t clearly show the outcome.

Similarly, in the recent Golf Q&A session, Jim said that if he could choose any golf swing to copy, it would be Jameson’s.

He called his son’s swing so flawless that he’d proudly model his own after it, even though he didn’t coach him.

Jim even had their names added to a fake leaderboard to make it feel like their own little tournament.

Besides golf, Jameson is a big fan of football, just like his dad.

One of his favorite memories involves Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid, a longtime friend of Jim’s.

Over the years, Andy has gifted Jameson several special hats from big games, including AFC Championship games and even the Super Bowl.

These hats are treasures in the Nantz household, and Jim makes sure Jameson shows appreciation by writing thank-you notes.

Whether it’s his growing love for football or learning to ride his bike in the backyard, he’s clearly thriving in a home filled with love and support.
