Rated a four-star recruit by Rivals.com, he committed to play collegiate football for the University of South Carolina over numerous offers.

His professional journey began when the Buffalo Bills selected him as the 10th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.

The South Carolina-born athlete has played for the Buffalo Bills (2012-2016), New England Patriots (2017-2020), Carolina Panthers (2021), and Indianapolis Colts (2022).

However, the Colts traded the cornerback to the Dallas Cowboys on March 14, 2023.

Throughout his career, his prominent achievement was becoming the Super Bowl champion in 2018 with the Patriots and winning the 2019 NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

Stephon Gilmore tied the knot with Gabrielle Glenn, who attended the same university as him and was a former athlete.

Born on January 28, 1989, Gabrielle lettered in basketball, track, and tennis at Providence High School.

Although she received scholarships from Indiana, Hampton, Virginia Tech, and Georgia, Glenn committed to the University of South Carolina, where she would meet her future husband.

Gabrielle graduated with a degree in psychology from the university, alongside participating in different categories of track and field, including individual and relay races.

The college lovebirds exchanged their wedding vows on July 12, 2014, and are proud parents of three children; two sons and a daughter.

The pair welcomed their first child, Sebastian Gilmore, on April 2, 2015.

Two years later, their joy multiplied as they birthed a daughter, Gisele Sienna Gilmore, on March 10, 2017.

On January 9, 2021, they introduced a new member to their family, a son named Storey.
