Recently, the news broke that Wright will miss the remainder of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo because of a right hamstring strain. But it has been a spectacular year for Stetson, who is closing on his fifth all-around world title.
This year alone, Wright has won several competitions, including the San Antonio (Texas) Stock Show & Rodeo and the Wilderness Circuit Finals Rodeo. He also has earned $479,621 this year and stands first in earnings.
Recently, Wright also talked about how all his family members have focused on saddle bronc later in their lives, giving up bull riding. But the youngster says he wants to continue focusing on both the competitions.

The Rodeo superstar Stetson Wright has achieved massive success at a young age. At 24, he is one of the best in his sport, and the youngster certainly has many more years of magic left to show to his fans.
Earlier this year, on August 1, Stetson celebrated turning 24 in a great style. Just a few hours before celebrating his birthday, Stetson won the Cheyenne Frontier Days Championship.
The youngster then took to his Instagram handle to share the video of him riding the bull, with hundreds of them looking at him in awe.
He later thanked his followers, quoting the post with his picture, “Thank you to everyone for all the birthday wishes. I thought 23 was good, but 24 started better than any of them!!”
Standing at 5’8, Wright began his bull riding career in 2018. His first major victory was saddle bronc riding, and his first competition was the Lakeside Rodeo.
He won several other competitions that year, including the Pony Express Rodeo, the Strawberry Days Rodeo, and the Oakley Independence Day Rodeo. In 2019, Stetson won his first all-around world championship as a rookie while competing in his first Wrangler NFR.
A year later, he won his second consecutive all-around world title and claimed his first bull riding world championship. To date, Wright has won seven world titles, including four AA, two BR, and one saddle bronc riding championship.
He has also earned a massive fortune as a rodeo star, with his career earnings tallying up to $2.3 million. Wright is also one of the famous rodeo personalities on social media and has a following of more than 200k on social media handles.

The 24-year-old rodeo star, Stetson Wright, comes from a family filled with champions. His father, Cody Wright, is a two-time World Champion Saddle Bronc Rider.
His uncles, Spencer and Jesse Wright, are world-champion Saddle Bronc Riders. Stetson’s other uncles, Jake, Calvin, and Alex Wright, also compete in saddle bronc riding. His mother, ShaRee Wright, has previously talked about her family in an interview in 2020.
ShaRee and Cody tied the knot at the tender age of 18. At the time, Cody worked for his dad’s family business of pouring concrete but later decided to make his dream of becoming a Saddle Bronc rider come true.
Stetson has four siblings- two older brothers, Rusty and Ryder, and two younger siblings, Statler and Lily Jo. ShaRee says the three older brothers have a strong bond.
In 2020, when Stetson won a bull riding competition, Rusty texted his mother, saying his brother was his hero. Ryder said he felt more excited seeing Stetson win the world all-around title than he was when he won it.
Rusty and Ryder are already settled in their family life, but Stetson hasn’t shown whether he has a special someone in his life. Maybe the rodeo star is awaiting a grand reveal.
