Grant Horvat’s dad, Steve Horvat, is a Central Michigan University Hall of Fame inductee.
He acknowledges that without him, he would not be playing golf and reaching the current level of success.
Grant Horvat started playing golf at a young age, beginning at South Fork High School. Competing for the Bulldogs, he was a First-Team All-Area selection in 2015 and 2016.
His journey in golf continued at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where during his junior season, he posted a season-low round of 68 on October 1 at the Griffin Invitational.
This event also marked his top finish of the year, securing a tie for fifth place overall.
In his senior season, Horvat competed in three events for the Sailfish. The 2019-20 GCAA All-American Scholar made a significant impact by tying for the school’s record-best finish at the SSC Tournament.
