Nash collected the courage and popped the big question to Lilla Frederick during their vacation throughout Europe.

Steve’s wife, Lilla Nash (nee Frederick), was born in Orange County as the daughter of Duncan and Lynda Frederick.

She grew up with four siblings; Brittney, Kyle, Macsun and Robi.

Frederick completed high school at Cornelia Connely High School in 2008. During high school, she was a varsity basketball team member for three years.

She earned some major individual honors, including the CIF Southern Section Division V MVP, San Joaquin League MVP, and 2007 Orange County Register all-area second team.

Later, Frederick attended Pepperdine University and played indoor and sand volleyball for the Pepperdine women’s volleyball team.

After they shared the vows to stay together “till death do us apart” in 2016, the couple was blessed with their first child together, Luca Sun Nash, in July 2017.

The loving parents welcomed their second child, Ruby Jean Nash, on June 26, 2019.

Besides, Steve has other kids from his previous marriage with Alejandra Amarilla, who allegedly cheated on him.

While Nash was playing for the Mavericks, he met Alejandra in 2001. Soon after, they fell for each other and started dating.

The former couple were blessed with twin daughters, Lola and Bell, in October 2004.

Their marriage was sailing smoothly until they hit an iceberg in 2010, the same year they welcomed their third child, Matteo Joel.

The reason their relationship went cold was reportedly due to Alejandra’s infidelity with her then-husband, Steve’s teammate, Jason Richardson.
