The NFL posted a video of the Primetime Emmy Award winner, Kendrick Lamar, to reveal that he will appear as the headline performer.
Kendrick Lamar previously headlined the Super Bowl LVI halftime show alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige, with 50 Cent and Anderson Paak serving as special guests.
Alongside Kendrick Lamar as the first performer, other renowned singers, from Alicia Keys and Jennifer Lopez to the Rolling Stones and Prince, will be the performers of Super Bowl 2025.
Similarly, this isn’t the first time New Orleans will host the NFL’s biggest event. With a history of outstanding halftime shows, the city will welcome the Super Bowl for the 11th time in February.

Moreover, the Pregame performers of Super Bowl 2025 will include Christian recording artist Lauren Daigle and Jazz musician Trombone, who will perform “America the Beautiful.”
R&B vocalist Ledisi will also perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing” at the Super Bowl halftime.
The previous Super Bowl LVII in 2024 featured Usher alongside special guests, including Alicia Keys, Ludacris, and Will.i.am.
Similarly, according to Fox Sports, one person who apparently will not appear is New Orleans-born rapper Lil Wayne, who has publicly expressed disappointment that he was not selected as the headliner.
The halftime show will likely begin between 8-8:30 p.m. ET. since kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET.
