The highly anticipated Super Bowl 2025 will feature renowned performers like Kendrick Lamar, SZA, and Jon Batiste alongside the matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Scheduled for February 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Super Bowl 2025 promises an epic game full of surprises; however, the halftime show, featuring multiple performers, might be the real global highlight.

With Taylor Swift and many other celebrities expected to attend the game, the NFL on September 2024 revealed that one of the greatest rappers of all time, Kendrick Lamar, will be the featured performer at Super Bowl 2025 halftime.

The NFL posted a video of the Primetime Emmy Award winner, Kendrick Lamar, to reveal that he will appear as the headline performer.

Kendrick Lamar previously headlined the Super Bowl LVI halftime show alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige, with 50 Cent and Anderson Paak serving as special guests.

Alongside Kendrick Lamar as the first performer, other renowned singers, from Alicia Keys and Jennifer Lopez to the Rolling Stones and Prince, will be the performers of Super Bowl 2025.

Similarly, this isn’t the first time New Orleans will host the NFL’s biggest event. With a history of outstanding halftime shows, the city will welcome the Super Bowl for the 11th time in February.

Likewise, Grammy-winning singer SZA will join Kendrick Lamar as a special guest for the half-time performance.

Other Potential Performers for Super Bowl 2025, Including the National Anthem!

In addition to Kendrick Lamar and SZA, many other renowned singers will showcase their exceptional performances in the upcoming event.

Jon Batiste, a New Orleans native, Grammy-winning musician, and television personality, will open the event by performing the National Anthem before the game between the Eagles and the Chiefs.

Moreover, the Pregame performers of Super Bowl 2025 will include Christian recording artist Lauren Daigle and Jazz musician Trombone, who will perform “America the Beautiful.”

R&B vocalist Ledisi will also perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing” at the Super Bowl halftime.

The previous Super Bowl LVII in 2024 featured Usher alongside special guests, including Alicia Keys, Ludacris, and Will.i.am.

Similarly, according to Fox Sports, one person who apparently will not appear is New Orleans-born rapper Lil Wayne, who has publicly expressed disappointment that he was not selected as the headliner.

The halftime show will likely begin between 8-8:30 p.m. ET. since kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET.

Moreover, Beyonce headlined the 2013 Super Bowl along with special guests Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child.

It was, at the time, the second most-watched show in Super Bowl history, with 110.8 million viewers.

Super Bowl IV in 1970 was the first to take place in New Orleans and held at Tulane Stadium.

Similarly, the halftime show featured, among others, jazz trumpet player Doc Severinsen, Carol Channing, Marguerite Piazza, Lairen & Tara, Al Hirt, Lionel Hampton, and the SouthernUniversity Marching Band.
