Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, born on August 7, 1999, is a phenomenal American hurdler and sprinter known for her exceptional skills in the 400-meter hurdles.
In 2016, McLaughlin made history by becoming the youngest athlete in over three decades to qualify for the U.S. Olympic track team.
McLaughlin holds numerous records, including the current world under-20 record of 53.60 seconds and the junior personal best of 52.75 seconds (not ratified), achieved in 2018.
Similarly, in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, McLaughlin secured the gold medal in the 400-meter hurdles, setting a new Games record.
Over just 13 months, McLaughlin broke four world records, including being the first woman to break the 52-second and 51-second barriers in the 400-meter hurdles.

Likewise, he achieved numerous All-American honors during his sophomore year and set a state sophomore record in the 400-meter hurdles.
Pursuing higher education, Taylor earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
Similarly, he furthered his studies at the University of Southern California, completing his Master’s in Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering.
Furthermore, Taylor’s athletic achievements include winning a silver medal in the 400-meter hurdles at the 2016 IAAF World under-20 championships.
Ryan McLaughlin
Ryan McLaughlin, the youngest of the McLaughlin siblings, has been making waves in the track and field world.
Born in 2001, this talented athlete from New Jersey has followed in his family’s footsteps and excelled in his chosen sport.
Attending Union Catholic High School, Ryan became a force to be reckoned with on the track.
During the 2019 Union Country Track and Field Championship, he secured a first-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles.
Similarly, Ryan showcased his versatility by participating in the 4×400-meter relay and the 400-meter hurdles, earning a commendable fourth-place finish.
With such promising achievements, Ryan McLaughlin is definitely one to watch in the future.

Morgan McLaughlin is Sydney McLaughlin’s older sister and eldest among all four siblings. Born on May 5, 1994, Morgan, like her siblings, attended Union Catholic High School.
Displaying her versatility, Morgan participated in various events such as the 100-meter hurdles, 200 meters, and long jump.
Her passion for athletics continued as she joined the women’s track and field team at St. Peters University.
Throughout her college career, Morgan showcased her skills and dedication, leaving a lasting impression as an exceptional athlete.
