Tage Nathaniel Thompson was born in Glendale, Arizona, on October 30, 1997. Furthermore, Tage is the son of Brent Thompson and Kimberly Oliver Thompson.

After 16 relatively unsuccessful games, the 22-year-old returned to the Blues, where he played in 41 games, scoring three goals, nine points, and six assists.

Thereafter, the 22-year-old played for the San Antonio Rampage for the rest of the 2017-18 season.

Then, in 2018, Tage was traded to his current franchise, Buffalo Sabres, as part of a deal that would see Ryan O’Reilly go to the Blues in return.
