Todd Bowles, head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, is currently married to his second wife, Taneka Bowles. He was previously married to his first wife, Jill Jenkins.

Bowles, born on November 18, 1963, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, began his NFL career when he signed with the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent on May 7, 1986.

After competing for a spot and ultimately securing the starting free safety job in 1987, he went on to play a key role in the Redskins’ Super Bowl XXII victory.

Despite being a regular starter, Bowles was left unprotected by the Redskins during “Plan B” free agency in 1989 but eventually re-signed and continued as a starter through the 1990 season.

After retiring as a player, he joined the Green Bay Packers player personnel staff under Ron Wolf in 1995 and 1996.

On March 30, 2022, the Buccaneers named him head coach for five years after Bruce Arians transitioned to a senior football consultant position.

Todd Bowles is currently married to his second wife, Taneka Bowles. Born in San Francisco, California, in 1976, Taneka, is 49 years old.

Taneka Bowles is the founder and CEO of the Tampa Bay Fashion Experience, a company that organizes community-focused fashion events and runway shows in the Tampa Bay area.

Through her work, she has made valuable contributions to the local fashion industry.

In addition to her events, she owns a fashion sporting brand called Beyond the Bleacherz, founded in 2021, which designs customized activewear.

Beyond her passion for fashion, Taneka is deeply involved in raising awareness and support for autism and mental health issues.

She actively works to remove stigmas surrounding mental health disorders, showing her dedication to social causes.

Todd and Taneka reportedly first met in 2007 through mutual friends and gradually built a strong relationship.

The couple welcomed their son, Tyson Bowles, in 2011 and tied the knot in 2012. Tyson is currently a student at Tampa Preparatory School.

Over the years, the Bowles family has maintained a private but strong bond.

Before marrying Taneka, Todd Bowles married Jill Jenkins in 2000. Their marriage lasted eight years before they split in 2008.

However, the reason behind Todd and Jenkins’s failed marriage remains undisclosed.

The couple raised two children: Troy Bowles, now a linebacker for the Georgia Bulldogs, and Todd Bowles Jr., a defensive back for the LIU Sharks football team.

Tragically, Jill passed away on February 19, 2017, at the age of 50, in Bowie, Maryland. Todd also has a stepdaughter, Sydni Russell, from his previous marriage.
