Taylor Swift’s father, Scott Kingsley Swift, played college football at the University of Hawaii and the University of Delaware before graduation.

Scott’s background as a college football player has given him a deep appreciation for the game.

Stock broker and his daughter, Taylor, have been very supportive of Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs.

They have been spotted at several Chiefs games, cheering on Travis and celebrating his performances.

On November 10, 2024, they were spotted together to support Travis at the Kansas City game.

During the game, Scott hilariously jumped into the shot in a picture of a sweet couple, Taylor and Travis, which went like a forest fire over the internet within a specific time.

Scott Swift’s Transitions From College Football Player To Successful Finance Professional

Taylor’s father, Scott, had a college football career before transitioning into the financial sector.

He played college football at the University of Hawaii and the University of Delaware.

Swift started his career as a linebacker and later switched to playing center while at Hawaii.

Additionally, he was a member of the Rainbow Warriors’ 1970 team, playing as a center.

Although he didn’t receive much playtime, his team had a successful season, winning nine out of eleven games.

He later transferred to Delaware, where he continued his football career with the Blue Hens until his graduation in 1974.

Despite his stunning performance, Scott did not pursue a professional football career.

After college, Scott Swift chose to pursue a career in finance. He became a stockbroker and eventually joined Merrill Lynch, where he worked his way up to become a vice president.

Later, he established his own financial advisory group, The Swift Group.

When his daughter Taylor Swift decided to pursue a music career, he relocated his company to Nashville to support her.

At that time, he continued to work as a top adviser at Merrill Lynch.

According to reports, he is still in the financial sector and continues to provide direction and oversight for investment.

Scott Swift Switches Allegiance to the Kansas City Chiefs For Daughter Taylor and Her Beau, Travis Kelce

Recently, Scott Swift has been supporting the Kansas City Chiefs! This is a bit of a change for him, as he was originally a Philadelphia Eagles fan.

His newfound support for the Chiefs stems from his daughter Taylor’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

As for his thoughts on Travis, Scott has been very vocal about his approval.

He mentioned that out of all Taylor’s boyfriends over the past 12 years, Travis has made the biggest impact.

Moreover, Scott praised Travis’s family, calling them “phenomenal,” which clearly shows that he’s very happy with Taylor’s choice and supportive of their relationship.

During an episode of the New Heights podcast, Jason Kelce, Travis Kelce’s brother, humorously commented on Scott’s support for Kansas.

He pointed referencing Scott’s former Eagles fandom and stated:

Nice sweater on there,I think his complexion really suits green more if I say so myself…
