Tayson Foltz, a Murrysville, Pennsylvania, resident and multi-sports athlete at Franklin Regional High School, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at an untimely age of 18.

While his family has yet to provide details about his untimely death, according to a social media report, Tayson Foltz took his own life.

The untimely death of Tayson Foltz has left a profound void in the lives of his family, friends, and loved ones.

Tayson Fotlz, born on September 1, 2007, touched the lives of many with his athletic skills. He excelled in multiple sports, including track & field and pole vault, at Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville, PA.

Throughout his middle school years, Tayson showed remarkable talent in track and field, steadily improving his personal records.

By 2022, he had cleared an impressive 9 feet in the pole vault, marking him as one of the top athletes in his region.

Competing in various meets, including the Franklin Regional Middle School competitions and invitational events, Tayson consistently placed among the top performers.

His dedication and skill earned him a respected position in his school’s track and field program, and he was recognized for his contributions to the team and his achievements in the pole vault.

Tayson Foltz is Survived by His Parents, Siblings, and The Whole Family

The late Tayson Foltz was not just an amazing athlete but also a great son to his parents.

Although no information is available about his mother, as she prefers to maintain a low profile, his father, Jeremy Foltz, often shares pictures of his eldest son on social media, expressing his pride and love for him.

Furthermore, late Tayson inherited his athletic genes from his father, Jeremy Foltz, who is a former baseball and track star at Greensburg Salem High School, from which he graduated in 1997.

Although he didn’t play professionally, Jeremy guided his son in his athletic journey.

After earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Administration and Management from Penn State University in 2001, Tayson’s father, Jeremy, began his career in sales.

He served as the Banquets and Room Service Manager at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in the Greater Pittsburgh Region from 2003 to 2005 before joining Intervala LLC as a material group leader.

Jeremy worked with Intervala, LLC for almost 10 years as a material group leader and quotations analyst.

He also worked as an inside sales representative at Laurel Custom Grating, LLC in Everson, PA, and currently serves as the lead supply chain analyst at Curtiss-Wright Electro-Mechanical Corporation.

Tayson’s father, Jeremy Foltz, has been married to his stepmother, Nicola Campbell, since 2022.

In addition to his parents, Tayson Foltz is survived by his brother, Carver; grandparents; uncles; aunts; cousins; and the whole family.
