Terrence James Elijah Ross, popularly known as Terrence Ross was born in Portland, Oregon, on February 5, 1991. He is one of the three children of Terry Ross and Marcine Parker.

His father, Terry, had played men’s basketball in Continental Basketball Association and yanked the slam-dunk designation with the Tri-City in 1995. His mother, Marcine Ross, also played basketball in her early days.

He logged a career-high and franchise-tying 51 points against the Los Angeles Clippers in January 2014. Ross became the first player in NBA history to score 50 points, averaging about 10 points per game. 

Similarly, he recorded a new season-high, 27 points over the Detroit Pistons in February 2016. He recorded his first double-double with 24 points and added ten rebounds against the Brooklyn Nets.
