Texas Rangers Pitcher Jacob deGrom First Met His Wife, Stacey Harris, At A Bull Riding Event Before Getting Married In 2014

Jacob deGrom has been married for over ten years to his wife Stacey Harris. The couple has three Children in total.

The Modern MLB Legend is still doing wonders as a Pitcher for his team, the Texas Rangers. He signed for the team back on December 2, 2022, on a five-year contract.

Jacob started his baseball career at Stetson University as a shortstop and slowly transitioned to pitcher during his junior year.

In the 2010 MLB draft, he was drafted by the New York Mets in the 9th round. By the time Jacob deGrom and Stacey Harris had started dating. The couple first met at a bull riding event in Florida.

After dating for over six years, Jacob, proposed to his better half during Christmas 2013.

2014 Was A Great Year For Jacob deGrom And Stacey Harris

After Stacey Harris had already said yes, the good news for Jacob didn’t stop then. Jake finally made his MLB Debut on May 15, 2014, against the New York Yankees.

While it took a while for his debut, likely due to injury setbacks and a late transition to pitching, he still had an impressive debut against the Yankees, pitching 7 innings, striking out 6, and allowing 1 earned run, despite the 1-0 loss.

After making his MLB debut, the Pitcher had already started 22 games for the Mets before marrying the love of his life. The couple tied the knot on November 8, 2014.

They currently reside in Westlake, Texas, with their partner and three childrens: Jaxon Anthony, Aniston Grace, and Nolan. The couple also has an offseason home in DeLand, Florida.
